Workplace Flu Shot Clinics

Alberta Health allows the use of public flu vaccine in a private workplace setting but they do not allow the pharmacy to bill the public system for the administration of vaccine.   Therefore it would be against the rules for us or any other pharmacy to offer a "free" workplace flu shot clinic.

The following are our minimum requirements for a workplace flu shot clinic:

​

1. A relatively private office type room available away from loud noises and heavy machinery or foot traffic.

2. Minimum of 30 people who would be able to be coordinated into a 2 hour consecutive time block.
